Instead of acting civilized by letting people speak, these right wing wackos would rather drown out the speakers like Congressman Dingell with boos and jeers. Republicans can't come up with any legitimate arguments against the health care bill, so now they have stooped to a new low by organizing a plot to disrupt the town hall meetings. If anyone wonders why I hate right wing wacko Republicans so much, now you can stop wondering. Republicans will stoop to fear mongering, they will lie, twist the truth, take statements out of context, call you names, spread propaganda and now it seems they are even willing to stand in the way of a persons free speech by drowning out their speech with boos and jeers. Republicans aren't interested in making the life of all Americans better and healthier, all they want is to have lower taxes. This bill will only raise the taxes on a person making $350,000 a year by about $1500.00 more than they are paying now. But by the way they are acting, you would think the government is taking $150,000 more from these greedy Republicans. They are all about money, greed, and deceit and when you try to take a little from them, watch out for them, because they will stop at nothing to save their precious money. If there is ever an organized effort to start a civil war against Republicans, sign me up!<br /></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div>Bobhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06027804478453414671noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126985275107608879.post-70608892485841600522009-07-19T17:32:00.000-07:002009-07-19T18:15:15.350-07:00Republican blogger post<div style="text-align: justify;">I know most of my visitors are getting tired of reading about the recent post I made about a few Republican bloggers, so this will be the last time I make any post about my debates with them for a while because like I said before, it's a waste of time trying to debate these Republican bloggers. I'm not going to name their blogs because I don't want to give them any undeserved publicity, but I know they'll be happy to know they can post all the lies they want and I won't waste my time leaving comments anymore. Let me just say, I tried to comment on a couple of Republican blogger posts and just like before they misquoted me, lied and called me a bunch of names. They think the only way they can win an argument with me or with any Democrat is to misquote us, lie, or call us names. Why should I or anyone else put ourselves through the aggravation of trying to debate the issues with these type of people who refuse to be sensible and respectful. I guess when they lie, the only way they can backup their lies is by misquoting and name calling. I'm not saying all Republicans are like this, but the ones I've tried to debate on the Internet are. Be forewarned, I may still make political post from time to time if I feel the need to criticize those Right Wing Wackos, but I won't debate them anymore. <input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"></div><div id="refHTML"></div>Bobhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06027804478453414671noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126985275107608879.post-81335977929725835432009-07-12T15:56:00.000-07:002009-07-12T18:00:20.295-07:00In response to John Kaduk's response<div style="text-align: justify;">In response to <a href="http://therightwing.net/index.php/2009/07/09/i-found-my-muse/">John Kaduk's</a> response to my last post . John thought he would retaliate me for making a post about him, so he made a post about my post. OK John, you got even, but I take exception to some of the things you said. Here are some parts I found that I disagree with...<br /><br />"<span style="font-style: italic;">Our utterly confused lefty is a poor soul named Bob. Bob run’s a left wing blog and let’s just say he is a big fan of Obama and not a very big fan of the Constitution. One day Bob decided he wouldn’t be commenting on Republican blogs anymore because they dare challenge his view of the world" Here are a couple classic lines from his posts that sum up his view of things as they are:" ">Needless to say he is drinking the kool-aid.</span><span style=""><span style="font-style: italic;"> The lack of respect for history is appalling here especially since I consider myself a bit of a history buff. Saying he has no concept of history is an understatement considering he thinks Jefferson was our President 100 years ago. Kool-aid Bob’s comment is an excellent example of why nations and civilizations have fallen to tyranny since the beginning of man. What is that quote people are so fond off? I believe a variation goes like this: >Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it."</span></span><br /><br /><span style="">He starts out of course by insulting me. saying...<span style="font-style: italic;">"Our utterly confused lefty is a poor soul named Bob"</span></span><br /><span style="">Then he suggest that I'm big fan of Obama and not a very big fan of the Constitution" To that I say, I love the Constitution and I stand by it, but I'm not a big fan of the way the Republicans interpret the Constitution to suit there beliefs.</span><br /><br /><span style="">Then he lies and says this... <span style="font-style: italic;">"One day Bob decided he wouldn’t be commenting on Republican blogs anymore because they dare challenge his view of the world"</span>. What I said was, </span>I've finally learned my lesson and will no longer leave comments on those Republican post that I disagree with. That's a big difference to what John said that I said. Is it a lie? or is it just a mistake because he couldn't remember what I said?<br /><br />Then he says... <span style="font-style: italic;">"Needless to say he is drinking the kool-aid</span>". Another insult<br /><br />Then he notices my apparent mistake of which I said Thomas Jefferson was our President 100 years ago, when in fact it was 200 years. oops I made a mistake. Whats the difference? 100 years ago is a long time ago and 200 years ago is twice as long a time ago. You can be appalled John, I don't mind.<br /><br />Then he says..."<span style="font-style: italic;">Bob’s comment is an excellent example of why nations and civilizations have fallen to tyranny since the beginning of man</span>". <span style="font-style: italic;"> What is that quote people are so fond off?</span> <span style="font-style: italic;">I believe a variation goes like this</span>:" <span><span style="">"Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it".</span></span><br />Now I am or the Democratic philosophy is getting blamed for all the nations and civilizations that have fallen to tyranny. You should learn from that quote as well John because after all the mistakes the Bush administration have made in the last 8 years, you still haven't learned from them. You won't even admit the Bush administration made any mistakes.<br /><br />This only goes to show that Conservatives can't make one post or comment on a blog without getting the facts wrong, lying and insulting anyone who has an opposing point of view.<br /></div>Bobhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06027804478453414671noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126985275107608879.post-82238790082702582342009-07-09T10:29:00.000-07:002009-07-12T09:56:38.267-07:00A comment to my previous post<div style="text-align: justify;">Yesterday I received a comment to my previous post from John Kaduk who is obviously a Conservative. Rather reply to this comment, I wanted to address this comment in a new post to show everyone how a Conservative argues their point without giving any actual facts to backup their argument. If you haven't read my previous post, please do so along with the comments left. Here is his comment...<br /><br />"A big government can exist only in theory, Just like Karl Marx's true vision of communism can only exist in theory. A big government will always have access to too much power. and when a President can fire a CEO and make decisions of life and death (through healthcare), that is hardly "limited power. " A government big enough to give you everything you want is big enough to take away everything you have"-Thomas Jefferson" by John Kaduk <span style="font-weight: bold;">Added note: It turns out Jefferson was misquoted as saying that, it was Gerald Ford who said that, Jefferson actually said "The natural progress for things is for liberty to yield and government to gain control".</span> Which I believe will happen when liberties are abused.<br /><br />Notice how he states "big government can exist only in theory" then uses Karl Marx's visions from the 18oo's to back up his statement. Where are the facts? Then he says our President fired a CEO. I think he is referring to GM CEO Rick Wagoner. Obama didn't fire him, he merely told GM if they wanted to get a loan from the government, they would have to replace the CEO. Wagoner in turn stepped down. Then he says our President is making decisions of life and death by trying to get healthcare for every American. That is laughable and ridiculous to say the least. If any President made decisions of life and death, it was Bush when he started a war with Iraq based on lies to help his oil buddies. Then he finished his comment with a <span style="font-weight: bold;">mis</span>quote from Thomas Jefferson who was an intelligent Republican leader and was our third President 100 <span style="font-weight: bold;">200</span> ago. It was actually Gerald Ford, but I would tell Mr. Ford that a government small enough to give the rich everything they want is small enough to take everything away from the middle class and poor.<span style="font-weight: bold;"> Correction: I was wrong, Jefferson was President 200 years ago.</span><br />Note: to anyone who finds it necessary to leave insulting comments, you run the risk of having your comment rejected. That means you Bobo<br /></div><br /><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div>Bobhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06027804478453414671noreply@blogger.com17tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126985275107608879.post-49984577646759356412009-07-05T15:06:00.000-07:002009-07-05T16:14:07.607-07:00Commenting on a Republican's blog<div style="text-align: justify;">Speaking of commenting on a Republican's blog. I've noticed that most of the time I'm the only Democrat who leaves comments on post that I disagree with. Then all the Republican followers of that particular blog all start commenting on my comment with a condescending attitude. If 5 or 6 Republicans leave a argumentative comment to my comment, how am I suppose to a reply to all those arguments in one comment without writing a 1000 word comment. I don't have time for that, and I don't have the patience to put up with the criticism and put downs. I think this is the reason most Democrats don't leave comments on Republican blogs, because they already know that it's useless to try to make someone see your point of view if their mind is closed to opposing points of view. I've finally learned my lesson and will no longer leave comments on those Republican post that I disagree with. The Republicans agenda is much different than the Democrats agenda. The Republicans want to have smaller government to help the rich get richer and destroy the middle class and their willing to lie and use fear mongering to accomplish their goals. The Democrats want bigger government to give the middle class and poor a fairer playing field. I can only hope that most Americans continue to support Obama and the Democrats in our quest to make America a better place to live for all Americans, not just the rich. <input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"></div><div id="refHTML"></div>Bobhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06027804478453414671noreply@blogger.com24tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126985275107608879.post-56020788302303641222009-06-30T16:46:00.000-07:002009-07-01T16:32:34.110-07:00Another Unhappy Republican<div style="text-align: justify;">Another unhappy Republican was so upset with my comment on his post, he made a post addressed directly to me of which he titled, Wake Up Bob. He even added a picture of some guy with his head buried in the sand. I'm thinking he posed for that picture personally. Because he goes by the name Lot2Learn, I ended my comment to his post with the phrase " Lot2Learn really does have a lot to learn". Apparently this was enough for him to dedicate an entire post to me. So I'll return the favor. In his post he suggests that I'm living in a kool-aid induced wonderland and even goes so far as to call me and all other people who support Obama, Zombies. He also says he can only imagine that in my mind that Obama and our government should make all decisions for us, feed us, clothe us, keep us healthy and give us a job. Wrong! Lot2Learn has a big imagination and a lot to learn. I believe Obama is doing what he has to do to fix the worst recession since the great depression that he inherited from the Bush administration. I believe Bush was the one who coined the phrase "I'm the decider". Obama doesn't want to make my decisions, he wants to make the Presidents decisions. Obama doesn't want to feed us or clothe us, he wants to give us the ability to feed and clothe ourselves. Obama doesn't want to keep us healthy, he just wants every American to have affordable health insurance. If you can't understand that then maybe you are the one who is a Zombie. In his post he also says that a President should represent all Americans, not just the far left. Isn't that what Bush did? He only represented the far right. Whether Republicans realize it or not, Obama is representing all Americans. Just because he raised the taxes on people making over $250,000 a year, greedy Republicans are crying because they might lose a few dollars. Then he goes on to remind me and all the other Zombies who support Obama that this is the greatest nation on earth, and what our fathers and grandfathers, and great grandfathers fought for, and lets remember the men and women that stand watch for you 24 hours a day so that you can be free. Lots2Learn, I don't need you to remind me, I never forget that, but if we don't let our government regulate some of those freedoms we will lose them to the rich conservatives who want nothing more than to control our government. Lot2Learn, your nickname is really appropriate because you really did miss something. </div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div>Bobhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06027804478453414671noreply@blogger.com20tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126985275107608879.post-71343657426434108572009-06-26T16:31:00.000-07:002009-06-26T16:45:01.509-07:00Michael Jackson's Untimely Death<div style="text-align: justify;">It seems everyone is blogging about Michael Jackson's untimely death, so I might as well weigh in with my thoughts as well. I am saddened that the king of pop has died so young. I loved his music, especially Thriller, Billy Jean and Beat It. I hated what he did with his plastic surgery and I think that he was very good looking before he started changing his face. To Michael Jackson, thank you for sharing your music with the world. All your fans will miss you and remember you through your music. </div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div>Bobhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06027804478453414671noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126985275107608879.post-54841287667268279812009-06-20T16:40:00.000-07:002009-06-26T16:25:30.614-07:00I Had An Accident Today<div style="text-align: justify;">I had an accident today that could have been avoided if I had been watching my 16 month old son better. I let my son go upstairs while I followed behind him making sure he didn't fall. But after we were upstairs for only a minute, I took my eyes off him for maybe 5 seconds which was long enough for him to make his way back to the stairway where when I saw him, he was getting ready to take a step down, so I ran as fast as I could to try and stop him from falling down the stairs and by the time I reached him he was already stepping down and beginning to fall. I was running so fast I couldn't stop and ended up tumbling over his head while pulling him back. I continued tumbling all the way down the stairs while my son tumbled down after me landing on top of me. Fortunately he wasn't injured but I ended up with a few bumps, scrapes and bruises and a broken toe that was sticking straight out sideways. I had to go to the hospital to get it set back into place today. Now I'm sitting here with a broken toe, thanking God that my son is OK. I have learned a valuable lesson, which is never take my son out of my site if there is a danger of him getting hurt or injured.</div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div>Bobhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06027804478453414671noreply@blogger.com19tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126985275107608879.post-62717073591087342872009-06-18T13:35:00.000-07:002009-06-18T14:04:08.263-07:00Information Entrecard Droppers Should Know<div style="text-align: justify;">I have some information Entrecard Droppers should know. Using EC is a great tool to get visitors to come to your site. But one thing EC doesn't do is to get the visitors to stay and read your post. This can be a problem if most of your visitors are just staying a few seconds which is long enough to make a drop and then leave. If you want to know how long visitors are staying at your website, you need to find out the bounce rate of your site. You can get the bounce rate by using <a href="http://www.google.com/analytics/index.html">google analytics</a>. I was surprized to find out my bounce rate is 91 %, which means 91% percent of my visitors are just staying long enough to make a EC drop, then leaving. That is why I made this post today. I'm hoping that when all you EC droppers read the title of this post you will stay long enough to read it and lower my bounce rate. I know now that Entrecard can bring you visitors, but if you have nothing interesting to make people stay, then they will just leave and continue dropping other sites. In the future I hope I can find more interesting topics for my visitors to read.<br /></div>Bobhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06027804478453414671noreply@blogger.com18tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126985275107608879.post-60182488891926456212009-06-12T22:02:00.000-07:002009-06-12T22:12:31.934-07:00The Red Wings Lost<div style="text-align: justify;">The Red Wings lost a chance to win the Stanley Cup Friday when the Pittsburgh Penguins defeated them. Then Brad Stuart of the Red Wings made a bad pass that hit a Penguins skate which resulted in a giveaway and another goal. The wings scored one goal but could never find the Pens net again. Thanks to the officials and Brad Stuart, The Red Wings lost. Sorry Newt, but the only thing Obama has failed at doing so far is rallying support from Republicans for his attempts to save this economy from going into a depression. I say, You can't fix an economy in 6 months that took 8 years for the Bush administration to destroy. Newt also said "Bureaucrats managing companies does not work, politicians dominating the economy does not work" Who the hell made Newt Gingrinch an expert on what works to help the economy? Newt also said "I am not a citizen of this world" making an attempt to show he disagrees with Obama's statement " I am a citizen of this world". Who the f*** cares Newt Gingrinch? Most of us wish you were not a citizen of this United States as well because you are fighting against helping the United States improve this economy. Newt Gingrich if you're hoping to be elected President in 2012, you have already failed, just as you have failed to help the United States fix our economy. Same goes to Palin. Obama will fix this economy and will go on to be President until 2016.<br /></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div>Bobhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06027804478453414671noreply@blogger.com21tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126985275107608879.post-71500092059388931092009-05-30T09:12:00.001-07:002009-06-10T21:28:38.245-07:00Go Detroit Red Wings<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_l_kYlcDBhTU/SiFbI9VIKlI/AAAAAAAAADA/Y1vbeqD2As8/s1600-h/images.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 116px; height: 87px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_l_kYlcDBhTU/SiFbI9VIKlI/AAAAAAAAADA/Y1vbeqD2As8/s320/images.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5341650842498378322" border="0" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: rgb(204, 0, 0);">Go Red Wings!!!</span> The Detroit Red Wings start their final series against the Pittsburgh Penguins today at 8:00 pm. This is a rematch of the previous season's Stanley Cup finalists when the Red Wings defeated the Penguins in 6 games. This time I predict the series will go to at least 6 games again. The Red Wings are starting this series without two star players, Pavel Daksyuk and Kris Draper but I expect others players will pick up the slack as they did in the series against the Black Hawks but at least they will have captain Nicklas Lidstrom back in the lineup for game one today. A few months ago I posted about how I bought some carpet that was used in the Detroit Auto Show. Well, I finally started installing it upstairs. I've only been doing a little bit at a time because I try to only work when my 15 month old son is sleeping, otherwise he cries and gives his mother a hard time until she has to bring him upstairs to watch me, which takes her away from her chores downstairs. Anyway, a few more days work and I'll be finished upstairs, then I can start installing carpet downstairs. My blog will suffer from lack of post, but at least I can continue making 300 EC drops every day.<br /><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"></div><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div>Bobhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06027804478453414671noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126985275107608879.post-82843445755267635672009-05-16T09:07:00.000-07:002009-05-16T09:57:40.864-07:00The Republicans are on the attack again<div style="text-align: justify;">Here we go again. The Republicans are on the attack again. This time they are concentrating their attack on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, accusing her of lying about whether she was briefed by the CIA on waterboarding. Pelosi says she was misled. Who do you believe? I believe Pelosi because Bob Graham who was the Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee at the time had a similar briefing as Pelosie's by the CIA three weeks later and said “I do not have any recollection that day of there being a discussion of something that would have been as neon as waterboarding or other torture techniques,” Mr. Graham said. Newt Gingrinch said "I have never heard such a disgusting lie by a political official in my all my lifetime" Oh really Newt? What about the lies Bush and Cheney told about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq so Bush could start his war with Iraq? When they couldn't find any weapons of mass destruction, they tried to link Al Qaeda with Saddam Hussein, but they couldn't find any possible links so they started torturing some of the detainees in desperation to try and make someone admit to being linked to Al Qaeda. Unfortunately for Bush and Cheney it didn't work. Now they try to justify the torture by saying it gave them valuable information in the fight against terror. Another lie. Nancy Pelosi will survive this latest political attack by the Republicans as she has in the past.<br /></div>Bobhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06027804478453414671noreply@blogger.com18tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126985275107608879.post-70036337861204503172009-05-12T18:11:00.000-07:002009-05-14T21:27:09.875-07:00Go Red Wings<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_l_kYlcDBhTU/SgofZJkpfcI/AAAAAAAAAC4/O_ARc5PzeKQ/s1600-h/images.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 116px; height: 87px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_l_kYlcDBhTU/SgofZJkpfcI/AAAAAAAAAC4/O_ARc5PzeKQ/s320/images.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5335111225500597698" border="0" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: rgb(153, 0, 0);">Go Red Wings!!!</span> Beat the Mighty Ducks tonight at 10:00 pm and clinch the series.<br /><br />The Detroit Red Wings lead the series 3-2 and can go to the next round with a win tonight. To the most important mother in my life, I wish my wife Lisa a very Happy Mothers Day. She is really a great mother to our son and the best wife a man could ask for as well. To my mother-in-law, Happy Mothers Day to you to. To my daughter Bobbie, I wish you a Happy Mothers Day and lastly, but not least, I want to wish Happy Mothers Day to my mom who passed away 20 years ago, you are gone but never forgotten.<br /></div>Bobhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06027804478453414671noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126985275107608879.post-49939560125251972382009-05-03T14:12:00.000-07:002009-05-03T17:56:34.633-07:00Some good news to share<div style="text-align: justify;">I have some good news to share. My daughter, <a href="http://www.bobbieblog31.com/">Bobbie </a>just got engaged May 2. Her boyfriend, Joe finally proposed to her after over 3 or 4 years of dating, I can't remember, anyway she said yes. Congratulations to my daughter and future son-in-law. Also some other good news for me and my <a href="http://lisgold.com">wife</a>, it is our 2 year wedding anniversary today May 3. We celebrate with our 14 month old son, Michael. In other good news Manny Pacquaio defeated Ricky Hatton in the second round last night with a knock out. Way to go Pacman!</div>Bobhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06027804478453414671noreply@blogger.com13tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126985275107608879.post-64791258078680124592009-04-29T18:45:00.001-07:002009-04-29T19:02:01.057-07:00House Centipede<div style="text-align: justify;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_l_kYlcDBhTU/SfkDBHA7RNI/AAAAAAAAACo/BtKfW4MKRT8/s1600-h/House+Centipede.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 88px; height: 132px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_l_kYlcDBhTU/SfkDBHA7RNI/AAAAAAAAACo/BtKfW4MKRT8/s320/House+Centipede.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5330294951567377618" border="0" /></a>Have you ever seen this bug in your house before? I have and so has my wife. The first time I saw this bug it ran real fast across my living room floor and it scared the shit out of me, (not literally). Anyway, I did a search on the Internet to find out what this scary bug is. I found out it is called a House Centipede. It is <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">supposedly</span> harmless as a spider but they can still bite you, although I never heard of anyone getting bitten by one. Apparently they eat other insects just like spiders do and they like moist areas such as damp basements and crawlspaces. I happen to have a crawlspace, so that's where my problem is. I only see a few running through my living room every year, so I guess I can handle that. But I'd rather exterminate them along with the spiders I see every so often. </div>Bobhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06027804478453414671noreply@blogger.com17tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126985275107608879.post-87300131114232314152009-04-26T19:07:00.000-07:002009-04-26T19:20:26.642-07:00No PageRank information available<div style="text-align: justify;">I wrote a post about page rank before but I'm starting to get a little impatient waiting for Google to rank my site. I still have no page rank information available. Why can't Google rank my site and give me at least a 0 rank? I noticed my wife's blog which was ranked 3 by Google yesterday, has no page rank information available. Why would her site suddenly have no page rank information available when just yesterday it had a page rank 3? I think if Google wants to keep it's credibility, they better do a better job in crawling sites that are verified sites. Google has already lost credibility with me. Please don't give me any more advice on how to increase my rank with Google, I need advice on how to get ranked by Google period.<br /></div>Bobhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06027804478453414671noreply@blogger.com17tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126985275107608879.post-65229796507279810632009-04-22T16:32:00.000-07:002009-04-22T17:06:14.031-07:0011 Month Old Mauled To Death By Pit BullWhile watching the news today, I saw a news report about a 11 month old boy in Eastpointe, Michigan who was mauled to death by the family dog. The parents were on the bed and the child was playing in the room when the family pit bull came in and attacked the child. The father got a gun and shot and killed the dog to stop the attack, by then it was to late for the little baby boy.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">It seems like I hear about these pit bull attacks all the time. Where is your brains if you own one of these vicious dogs and have young children in the home? Maybe not all pit bulls are going to attack people but certainly it does happen. Are you willing to risk the life of your child or someone else because you believe the chance of your pit bull becoming vicious is too remote? I'm sure these parents are mourning the death of their child, but I think they should be charged with man slaughter for putting their young child at risk, and what were they doing on the bed while their baby was playing in the room? I'm thinking child neglect as well.<br /><br />Owning pit bulls should be banned everywhere in my opinion because owners can't be trusted to use proper judgement in handling pit bulls that are very dangerous and unpredictable. If you want a nice dog that scares people without being unpredictable, get a German Shepherd or a Great Dain. Don't put children at risk of death or injury from pit bulls.<br /></div>Bobhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06027804478453414671noreply@blogger.com18tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126985275107608879.post-59079478339725968142009-04-20T19:30:00.000-07:002009-04-21T12:58:23.568-07:00New Blog Template<div style="text-align: justify;">I welcome all my visitors to my new blog template. Maybe you thought this is a new blog, but not so. My wife finally convinced me to try a new template, so today I finally gave in and agreed to let her change it for me. The only thing I did was approve the template design she found and a little touch-up afterward. Anyway, let me know what you think of my new template and I welcome any suggestions you might have.<br /></div>Bobhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06027804478453414671noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126985275107608879.post-3884388078683290522009-04-18T13:36:00.000-07:002009-04-21T12:55:50.377-07:00I need to lighten up a little bit<div style="text-align: justify;">If you've read some of my post in this blog lately, you probably would think that I take politics way to seriously. You would be right. I really do need to lighten up a little bit. But I do enjoy debating the issues and ranting about things that bother me because the Republican views and policies really get me going sometimes. I suppose putting up with 8 years of Bush and his policies is the reason. But then even after all the mistakes Bush made, most Republicans still can't admit Bush did anything wrong. Anyway I promise to be more civil to the visitors who comment on my post in the future. But I will continue to moderate all comments to weed out the nasty, the insulting and the comments that are too long.<br /><br />But I hear it all the time, the Democrats are anti-war because most of us saw through Bush's and Cheney's lies and were against the war in Iraq from the start, or that we don't support the troops because we're against the war in Iraq, I will always support my troops, or that we want to abolish all gun rights because some Democrats wanted to make assault weapons illegal, or that we are all Socialist because we want a level and fair playing field for the middle class, or that we are murderers because we are for abortion, but I'm one Democrat that is against abortion, or that we are a bunch of tree hugging animal rights activist. Not me, I <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">couldn't</span> care less about the polar bears in Alaska or the Arctic Circle or the <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">alligators</span> in Florida, kill them all if you want. I do care about the people of my country first and the rest of the world second. I believe if the Democrats were not fighting for the middle class and the poor, the rich would have complete control of our government and country by now. Then we would have two majority classes the rich and the poor, then the middle class would be a minority, which would be fine for most Republicans. Tell me I'm wrong and why.<br /></div>Bobhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06027804478453414671noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126985275107608879.post-62477418081406516452009-04-14T17:12:00.000-07:002009-04-15T18:01:02.433-07:00Comment on a conservative's blog<div style="text-align: justify;">Recently I left a negative comment on a conservative jerk's blog that I won't name for fear I might give him more publicity than he deserves. Boy was that a mistake! Not only did I get pummeled with follow up comments from the site's owner criticising my grammar and spelling, but also his wife joined in on slandering me as well. Then all his devoted followers(who are obviously all Republicans) started doing the same. I thought that by leaving a negative comment about my displeasure with his most recent post, I would possibly make him realize how childish he is by posting the picture that he had there. I was wrong, not only is he childish, but so is all of his Republican friends as well. Here is a message to all Republicans. Obama is your president, get over it. You lost and the Democrats won. Stop acting like little children who lost a ball game and then taking your ball and going home. Its time for all Americans to stand together and get this country back to the way it was before Bush was president. Stop trying to hinder every step the Democrats take in trying to fix a broken economy that was given to us by the Bush administration. Of course I know telling this to Republicans is like talking to a wall. They will never admit they were wrong or made mistakes because that would mean they have to be honest, one thing most Republicans have trouble with. One more thing , my spelling, punctuation and grammar might not always be perfect, but at least I get my point across. Every time a Republican doesn't like what you say, instead of arguing the point, they would rather point out the mistakes in grammar and spelling to make you look bad. So what! if I said "your" when I should have said "you're". They know what I'm trying to say. From now on, when I have something negative to say about a conservative's post, I will do it here on my blog where I can control the content. Democrats rule, long live the Democrats!</div>Bobhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06027804478453414671noreply@blogger.com28tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4126985275107608879.post-56565233946120948982009-04-13T13:30:00.000-07:002009-04-21T21:32:45.411-07:00President Obama is Tough on Terrorism<div style="text-align: justify;">Anyone who doubted President Obama would be tough on terrorism, can now relax and put their doubts aside. Obama has proven he is going to be tough on terrorism on Easter when he gave orders to use deadly force against the pirates who kidnapped an American captain and demanded a one million dollar ransom. The Navy Seals used snipers to pick off three of the pirates while the US Navy ship was towing the lifeboat back out to sea. The Somali pirates now know that if they try to hijack any more US ships, they won't be paid any ransoms and they put their lives at risk from the US Navy. I haven't heard any criticism from the conservatives who are always quick to criticize anything Obama does, because they know Obama did the right thing. I don't expect I will hear any praise for Obama's decision coming from the far right either. Finally I can be proud to be an American, something that was hard for me to be when Bush was in office.<br /></div>Bobhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06027804478453414671noreply@blogger.com2
