Go Detroit Red Wings

Go Red Wings!!! The Detroit Red Wings start their final series against the Pittsburgh Penguins today at 8:00 pm. This is a rematch of the previous season's Stanley Cup finalists when the Red Wings defeated the Penguins in 6 games. This time I predict the series will go to at least 6 games again. The Red Wings are starting this series without two star players, Pavel Daksyuk and Kris Draper but I expect others players will pick up the slack as they did in the series against the Black Hawks but at least they will have captain Nicklas Lidstrom back in the lineup for game one today. Some game analysts are predicting that the defending champion Red Wings can't beat the Penguins this year, we will see, I think the Wings can win and will win in 6 or 7 games. Go Wings!!!
Update: 1 The Red Wings beat the Penguins 3-1 in game one. They play again some time Sunday.
Update: 2 The Red Wings beat the Penguins 3-1 in game two. They now lead the series 2-0 and the next game is in Pittsburgh on Tuesday. Go Wings!!!
Update: 3 The Penguins beat the Red Wings 4-2. The Red Wings still lead the series 2-1 and will soon lead the series 3-1.
Update: 4 & 5 The Penguins beat the Red Wings in game four 4-2 but the Red Wings beat the Penguins in game five 5-0. The Red Wings now lead the series 3-2 and can win the Stanley Cup in Pittsburgh this Tuesday. Go Wings!!!
Update: 6 The Penguins beat the Red Wings 2-1 in Pittsburgh to tie the series 3-3. Game 7 is in Detroit Friday at 8:00 pm. The Red Wings are favored to win the cup. Go Wings!!!

Have a happy weekend!
Hi,
I am dropping by via entrecard to check out what is new with you and at the same time to wish yah a great weekend ahead :) xoxo
My original prediction was the Wings in 7. However, I am leaning towards the Wings closing things out on Tuesday. With Pavel Datsyuk back in the lineup, I think they can make it two years in a row celebrating on Pittsburgh's home ice.
By the way, I found your blog via the blog "Did I Miss Something?". I like what you said in response to the title of that blog because I've wondered the same thing about some of the posts over there.
